After losing the first match to Sabina, the team never looked back and the only other loss was a one-goal defeat suffered at the hands of a strong Hornets team. Liz and Molly were very secure at the back, Emily, Brogan, Lucy and Alannah were all incredibly hard working in centre court, and the hot shots, Beth C and Dot combined well and slotted the goals under pressure. There was a real will to win in the team, which stood them in good stead when the matches were close.

All the U18 players improved tremendously over the course of the season, and with an experienced head at either end of the court, the team were deserved winners of the division.

The player of the year for the 3rd team was Lucy McCarthy, who trained hard, played hard, was super competitive, but retained composure and if she did make an error was straight back in the game looking for an interception.
