It has been a long season for our Junior and Minis team this year, with a short winter league running from September to December, then a full 2023 league which went from January to June!

Juniors 1 played great netball up until Christmas, finishing 2nd by just one point, however they were missing key players from a couple of matches when they clashed with the Regional U16 League. In the 2023 League though, they were pretty much unstoppable (only losing one match for the same reason), with the best defensive record in Division 1, and they were crowned worthy champions.

Juniors 2 repeated these super results, with a runners up finish in the short winter league, then going on to be champions of Division 2 for the main league, only losing two matches over the whole of the season.

In Division 3, Juniors 3 finished in 3rd place at Christmas. However showing the huge improvements they made over the season, they also had the best defensive record in the league as they went on to win the division in the second part of the season.

Our Junior 4 team were very inexperienced at the start of the year but also showed a huge step-up in their play by the end of the season. They finished 4th in Division 6 in both leagues, but the difference in the performances in the latter part of the season was huge.

Our Minis team made history, improving on their 4th place before Christmas, to WIN (!) Bee Division A, an absolutely huge achievement for these young guns with a squad that varied every week on a rota basis.

In addition, 4 of our players were recognised with receiving the most Player of the Match awards (which are chosen by the opposition teams):
