The Roses Academy is a critical part of the England Netball performance pathway, designed to support young athletes on their journey towards potentially becoming senior England athletes.

For 2025-26, a Roses Academy long squad has been selected for the first time in the programme’s history, in a change that is designed to support programme athletes away from camp in the lead up to their age group trials, from which the final Roses Academy squad will be selected, later in the year.

The long squad is split into two groups comprising of Under 19 and Under 17 athletes. The U19s selected in this long squad will attend Roses Academy camps in November in preparation for fixtures that are planned for December 2025. Meanwhile, the U17s will attend camps in early 2026, building up to the U17 Europe Netball tournament in March 2026.

Huge congratulations to Christine who has been selected for the U19s and to Deb who is back again for the U17s. We know they will be pushing hard for selection for the Netball Europe competition!
