Our senior teams competed hard throughout the season, and the 1st team were very proud to put their name on the North West Kent League trophy once again, winning division 1 in style. In the London & SE Regional League, they finished in fifth spot, and were possibly disappointed not to win a couple more matches where they had run close.

The 2nd team had a really tough season, finishing in seventh spot in division 1 of the NWKL and fifth in division 1 of the Kent County League. Lots learnt, with several players returning from university, and they will push on next year.

In division 4 of the NWKL, our 3rd team had a fabulous season, finishing in runners-up spot and gaining promotion. This team was all U18, and they also competed together in the Kent County U18 League where they also finished runners up – a great season for them all.

In the Malling and Maidstone League, the 4th team who were almost all U16 were crowned champions of division 2 – a great result and testament to the hard work they put in all year, and how the group developed. The 5th team also really improved over the season, with some U15s getting experience in the adult league for the first time, and they finished sixth in division 3.

In the summer league at MMNL, KCNC A, a mix of players from all our senior teams, won the minor league title for division 1, then went on to win their semi and final to take the title. Not to be outdone, KCNC B, our U14-15 squad, all playing adult netball for the first time also won the minor league title, semi and final. Two champions on one night!

Our U16As recovered from their disappointment not to be playing at regional level to put out brilliant performances to win the Kent County Junior League. The U16 Bs who also qualified for the main league finished in sixth place – a remarkable result showing the depth of talent in this age group.

The U14 As had a brilliant year and definitely were one of our most improved teams, finishing as runners up in the U14 Kent County Junior League and fifth in the London & SE Regional League. They were also finalists in the SistersnSport Plate – a national competition, which was a phenomenal result. The U14 Bs gained good experience in the Kent County Development League, finishing sixth.

In the Sevenoaks Junior League, Juniors 1 (our U15s) had a great season, going unbeaten and winning division 1 in style. Our Juniors 2 (U14/13) were also in this division and finished a brilliant third against all U15-U16 opposition. Juniors 3 (a mix of U14/13) had a mixed bag of results but all improved and had gelled well together by the end of the year to finish fourth in division 3. The U12 Juniors 4 also made great strides, beating the division 5 winners in their last match to secure the runners-up spot.

In the summer league, the teams mixed up a bit and Juniors A (U15/14) went unbeaten to win division 1 – a great ending for our U15s none of whom lost a match at Sevenoaks this year! Juniors B (U14/13) were also winners, this time of division 3, only dropping one match when most of the squad were in Loughborough playing. Juniors C (U12s) pushed up a division to division 4, but showed how much they had improved to finish in second place against several older teams.

Our Minis section went from strength to strength with lots of new joiners. In the winter league at Sevenoaks the squad played on a rotation in the Bee Netball Division A, finishing in fourth place – great work considering some had never played netball before! In the summer league we expanded to two teams and Minis A (U11/U10) took the runners up spot – such a brilliant effort. Minis B (all U10) had a whale of a time and also incredibly finished in second place in Division B. Superstars of the future in the making.

We now have a couple of weeks to catch our breath before we start again with pre-season training! Well done to all our players, and a big thank you to all our coaches, umpires and supporters – we couldn’t do it without you.
