With Paige Money and Kirsty Hall playing together in the attacking circle and building on their fledgling relationship, the team got off to a strong start, and really never looked back.
Paige was particularly dominant and scored at will throughout the match from anywhere in the circle. When Cara Hooker came into the shooting circle, she also played strongly and shot with great accuracy.
This gave the team a great platform and thanks to the hard work by Debbie Greenslade, Megan Hayward and Charlotte Penny in the centre court, the shooters were given plenty of opportunity.
Denes can be a tricky team - they are experienced and have a very accurate shooter who scores from long range, but Cassie Perry and Katy Caulfield, also building their partnership in the defensive circle, really kept the pressure up all game.
All the team worked really hard for each other, snaffling loose balls and putting on a big defence through the court, and the scoreline reflected a thoroughly deserved victory.
