The 2nd team have a poor middle two quarters against Chislehurst, leaving them too much to do.

The 2nd team had a bright start to the match, with new shooting combination Elize Ansell and Kirsty Hall playing well together, with Elize making use of the back line, with Kirsty driving the top of the circle. With Debbie Greenslade at C and Jemma Fruin at WA delivering the ball safely to goal, Club established a 10-7 lead at quarter time.

In the second quarter, Chislehurst had warmed up, and despite some great tips and interceptions from both Sadie Burch at GK and Rebecca O'Dwyer at GD, their shooters were looking comfortable and did not miss many attempts. Chislehurst took the quarter 11-5, to lead by three at half time 18-15.

For the third quarter Kirsty and Elize switched positions, and a reshuffle in the centre court saw Emma Hall on at WA with Shannon Murray to C and Jemma Fruin at WD. Emma made some well timed moves and showed great touch with her feeding, but Club were struggling to bring the ball out of defence through the mid-court. The defence continued to work hard, and the added height and elevation of Jemma at WD made an impact as Chislehurst were kept to just 5 goals. Unfortunately, Club did not make the most of their opportunities and only scored 2 in reply, so the three-quarter time score was 23-18 to Chislehurst.

The final quarter saw Club look a lot more determined, and with Becks and Sadie closing down the circle, and Shannon making more positive drives in the centre court, Club were able to convert more of their chances. Elize and Kirsty had switched back and this combination seemed to work better for Club as Kirsty used her speed to effect, with Elize popping out with good timing. The team worked a lot harder as a whole, and won the quarter 8-7. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to make up for the flat middle quarters, and the final score was 30-26 to Chislehurst.
