The game against Swanley was set to be a tough match, as they were top of the league table; luckily Club were in fighting spirit.
Nichola Morrison and Jayne Goldsbrough were proving to be a dynamic duo in the shooting circle and weren't having any trouble in putting their shots up. Nic was also making strong drives down the court and into the circle, playing herself in at all times.
Defence was working well together and Club were definitely reliant on the turnovers made by Paige Money and Elize Ansell which could be quickly turned into a straight line ball with the speed and agility from Lola Wheeler at C and the agile movement from Debbie Greenslade at WA. Both WDShannon Murray and Elize were there if the attack ever needed a quick pass back, as Swanley defence was very strong and was not to be underestimated.
There was a quick swap at half time between Lola and Lily Whitehead at C and Lily took no time to settle in and had a quick effect on the game chasing down many loose balls. Debbie continued to make many excellent feeds into the shooting circle where the Club shooters were accurate and were key in securing the win, 53-39.
