The second team were left to rue a poor start and some careless play against OBA 1 who settled into the match quickly. Despite some good passages of play in attack, at times, and hard work in defence the team were unable to push on and capitalise on the opportunities with loose passes throughout the court.
OBA gradually piled on the pressure so that by the end of the third quarter the team were facing at an 11 goal deficit. However, all was not lost and the team stepped up for the final fifteen minutes and showed what they are capable of. Defensively more pressure was applied and the ball started to move down the court with pace - the attack started to gel with some dynamic play which created more shooting opportunities. The team got to within two goals with 3 mins to go, however it was simply too much to do despite a great fight back.
