It was billed as the toughest game of the season so far and it wasn’t helped by KCNC 2 starting in a sluggish mood, passing was off and opportunities were missed in Quarter 1 which left us trailing 11-6. During Quarter 2 we showed more strength and started to play better netball and clawed it back to within three points.
Quarter 3 saw our fitness come through and we started passing more accurately which started to pay dividends and we had our noses in front 32-28 at the end of Quarter 3. Crystal Palace 2 were a very physical team but we were more agile and came out as the eventual winners 45-36, all in all it was a good team performance. Well done to Pauline Pearson who was given player of the match!
