The third team had, what only can be described as, an extremely tough day at the office on Saturday am against a class Telstars team. The team started slowly from the first whistle and whilst there were flashes of composed play during the match, there was not enough to take a point from the match.
There some good individual performances, with Lily Whitehead making her debut as WA, displaying good vision and feeding the shooters well, and both Jessica Clark and Lola Wheeler coming on in the second half and making a positive impact. In addition, a very focused Temi Adewumi back on court for the first time this season was hugely encouraging.
The team will be working hard over the next two training sessions to improve on Saturday's performance in the next match against Istead on Saturday 12th October 13.
