Sun shines on the third team

With Denise unavailable due to work commitments it was up to Temi Adewumi and Hannah Bartholomew to stand firm against extremely accurate Istead shooters with help from Rebecca Clayton for the first three quarters and Elena Salenius putting in a big effort in the last quarter.

The attacking play through the court improved each quarter, high energy displayed by Lois Marks and Lola Wheeler together with a very composed Lily Whitehead they were able to provide the shooters with a host of opportunities. With Pia Hooker's quick and well timed footwork, strong moves from Alice Bartholomew and dead eye shooting accuracy from Jessica Clark the team hung on taking a valuable win with a much improved team performance!
