Match report by Becca Clayton.

On 25th October the third team played Lorikeets and won 59 -20.

Shooters:- Overall the shooters played well, moving into good space for straight line balls. Many shots were taken, a large majority of which were successful. Those shots which were unsuccessful were usually retrieved as rebounds.

Centre court:- The centre court was very good at completing the centre pass and providing pressure, so as to help the defence make interceptions. Most of the time, the centre court provided tips or interceptions through man-to man marking. This was made easier due to the strong front court defence.

Defence:- The defence was strong and, although not every high pass into the shooters was able to be stopped, the opposition's shooters were put under a lot of pressure. Passes off the back line were taken quickly, however sometimes, we all found ourselves in the same space.

Overall, Kent Club played very well. In order to improve we need to bring our straight line balls off the sideline by offering a square option for each pass that moves the ball into new space.
