After a disappointing loss in their last game Club were determined not to have a repeat performance. Their next opponents were daggers who are top of the table, however this did not faze club and their spirits were high.

Club had first centre which led them to score the first goal. This was the start of a strong performance by the attack who were sinking their shots comfortably. This combined with some early interceptions by the defence saw Club looking solid and they came out of the quarter leading 8-3

Going into the second quarter Club knew that the opposition were now warmed up and were going to come back strong. The attack of Dorothy Bryan at GS and Jade Hierons at GA worked well and they continued to shoot accurately. At the other end of the court the opposing attack were settling into the game and they also were shooting well however throughout the quarter club kept their lead due to the solid work from the team. The score now being 14-12

Club were only ahead by 2 goals and they knew that this lead could easily be taken away from them so they had to keep all their efforts up. A change in the attack saw Alannah come on at GS, this change was adapted to quickly and the centre court worked well with the shooters to continue getting goals. A few basic errors were made which club had to recover from, however they did this well and came out of the quarter still in the lead. The score being 27-25

Going into the final quarter Club were leading by 2 and were ready to go all out and keep hold of the lead to get the win. Alannah Martin and Jade shot incredibly well under the pressure of the defence and the centre court were strong with Kirsty Hall at WA making some great interceptions. The defence kept the pressure on the shooters and made interceptions which led to goals for club. An all-round brilliant effort from the whole team paid off and club came away with a well-deserved win. The final score being 38-36
