KCNC 3 v Istead 1
It’s the second time that Kent Club face Istead and after taking the win in the previous match they knew that they had a tough match ahead of them as Istead will come back strong.
After a good warm up the team were all set to go all out on top form right from the beginning. In order to win again, Club needed to keep all efforts up from start to finish. The defence needed to be on top of their game right from the opening whistle which they did and this resulted in many interceptions throughout the match. The centre court throughout worked well, great pressure was put on the passes causing mistakes to be made, numerous interceptions were made and accurate feeds were made into the shooters. This led to some excellent work from the shooters, moving round the circle well and sinking their shots.
An overall strong performance by club saw them taking the lead for the second time. This was a good outcome for the team and well deserved by everyone. As a result of each players focus determination and hard work the final score was 45-42.
